Privacy Policy

Bulk WhatsApp Number Checker (WA Checker) by ToolsACE is developed by toolsace.io. This page covers the Chrome extension only; the privacy policy for the ToolsACE website is at toolsace.io/privacy.

What the extension does

You paste phone numbers into the side panel, or import them from a CSV or TXT file you choose. The extension asks WhatsApp Web, in a tab where you are already logged in, whether each number is registered on WhatsApp, and shows you the result. WhatsApp Web itself sends each number to WhatsApp, exactly as if you had searched for it in the app; we never see it. Imported files are read on your device only and are never uploaded.

Data we collect

None. The developer does not collect, receive, store on a server, sell or share any data. The extension has no analytics, no tracking and no remote servers of its own.

Data stored on your device

The extension keeps the following in your browser's local storage, on your device only:

• the numbers you pasted and their results, and any numbers still waiting to be checked, so a paused run can be resumed when you reopen the panel;
• a cache of recent results (YES for 7 days, NO for 1 day), so a number you checked recently is not looked up again;
• a daily lookup counter, used for the built-in safety limit;
• your theme choice (light or dark) and, if you choose one, your country (used to read numbers written without +);
• a short-lived marker that stops two open panels from running lookups at the same time.

CSV and Excel (XLSX) files are created on your device when you click Export; nothing is uploaded.

The extension is free. A daily safety limit (200 lookups) helps protect your WhatsApp account.

The footer link Report a problem opens a WhatsApp chat with the developer (a wa.me link) only when you click it. It pre-fills the extension version and nothing else, and nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp.

Use the Clear button to delete the numbers, results, queue and cache. Auto-detect reads your browser's time zone and language on your device only; nothing is sent anywhere. Your theme, country choice and daily counter stay until you remove the extension, which deletes everything it stored.

Network activity

The only network activity is WhatsApp Web's own communication with WhatsApp's servers, triggered from your logged-in session when a lookup runs. The extension itself makes no other network requests.

This is an unofficial tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc. WhatsApp may restrict accounts that perform many lookups in a short time; use the Safe pace and keep lists small.
