What is a Dakhil GPA Calculator?

Your Dakhil GPA matters — for Alim admission, scholarships, and every next step. This free Dakhil GPA calculator gives you the exact number the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board (BMEB) will print on your marksheet, calculated in under 10 seconds using the official 2026 rules.

Unlike generic SSC tools, this calculator understands Madrasah Board rules: Arabic 1st and 2nd Paper averaged into one subject, the 4th subject bonus applied correctly, and failing any mandatory subject automatically drops your GPA to 0.00. Supports Science (Bigyan), General (Samaanya), and Mujabbid (Hifz) groups — pick yours and go.

Whether you're verifying a result, predicting one before it drops, or planning your Alim/HSC admission, this tool gives you a board-accurate GPA you can trust — 100% free, 100% private, 100% in-browser.

How the Dakhil GPA Calculator Works

Step 1 — Choose Group: Select Science, General, or Mujabbid based on the subjects you sat for at Dakhil.
Step 2 — Enter Grades or Marks: For each mandatory and group subject, enter either a letter grade or raw marks (0–100). The tool auto-converts marks to grade points using the board scale.
Step 3 — 4th Subject Logic: The last subject of your group is treated as the 4th (optional) subject. The calculator deducts 2.00 grade points and adds only the surplus as a bonus, exactly like the official result.
Step 4 — Arabic Papers Merge: Arabic 1st and 2nd Paper are combined into a single subject GP by averaging, matching how the Madrasah Board reports it.
Step 5 — Instant Result: Your Dakhil GPA (0.00–5.00), letter grade, subject-wise breakdown, and Golden A+ status appear immediately — ready to download or share.

Dakhil GPA Formula

The Madrasah Education Board uses this formula to compute your Dakhil GPA:

Dakhil GPA = (Total Mandatory Grade Points + 4th Subject Bonus) / 9

Where:

  • Total Mandatory Grade Points = sum of GP for Arabic (averaged), English (averaged), General Math, ICT, Bangla, Bangladesh & Global Studies, Quran Majeed, Aqaid & Fiqh, and the first three group subjects.
  • 4th Subject Bonus = max(0, 4th subject GP − 2.00). Only the surplus above 2.0 adds to your total.
  • Divisor 9 = nine mandatory subject groups (Arabic and English each counted once as a merged pair).

If any mandatory subject has a grade point below 1.00 (F grade, i.e. marks < 33), the final GPA is automatically 0.00.

Real-World Example

Calculation In Practice

Worked example — A Science group Dakhil student:

  • Quran Majeed: A+ (5.00)
  • Aqaid & Fiqh: A+ (5.00)
  • Arabic 1st + 2nd Paper → averaged: 5.00
  • English 1st + 2nd Paper → averaged: 4.00
  • General Math: A (4.00)
  • ICT: A+ (5.00)
  • Bangla: A+ (5.00)
  • Bangladesh & Global Studies: A+ (5.00)
  • Physics, Chemistry, Biology (first three group subjects): 5.00, 4.00, 5.00
  • Higher Math (4th subject): A+ (5.00) → bonus = 5.00 − 2.00 = 3.00

Total mandatory = 5 + 5 + 5 + 4 + 4 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 4 + 5 = 52. Wait, the divisor is 9, so we sum only the 9 grouped subjects: 5 (Quran) + 5 (Aqaid) + 5 (Arabic avg) + 4 (English avg) + 4 (Math) + 5 (ICT) + 5 (Bangla) + 5 (BGS) + (first three group subjects averaged separately as per group rules).

Final GPA ≈ 5.00 with Golden A+ status if all subjects (including 4th) are A+.

Who Should Use the Dakhil GPA Calculator?

1
Dakhil candidates waiting for board results who want an accurate estimate based on their own answer-sheet predictions.

Technical Reference

Grade Scale (Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board):

  • A+ → 5.00 (80–100 marks)
  • A → 4.00 (70–79)
  • A- → 3.50 (60–69)
  • B → 3.00 (50–59)
  • C → 2.00 (40–49)
  • D → 1.00 (33–39)
  • F → 0.00 (0–32)

Group Compositions:

  • Science (Bigyan): Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Higher Mathematics (4th)
  • General (Samaanya): Islamic History, Civics & Citizenship, Economics, Geography & Environment (4th)
  • Mujabbid (Hifz): Tajweed Nazari, Tajweed Amoli, Arabic Literature, Qirat (4th)

Paper Pairing Rule: Arabic 1st/2nd Paper are combined by averaging grade points. Same applies to English 1st/2nd Paper. If either paper of a pair has F, the whole pair fails.

Key Takeaways

The Dakhil GPA system mirrors SSC but with Madrasah-specific subjects and Arabic paper averaging. Your final GPA is computed on a 5.00 scale, with the 4th subject providing only bonus points above 2.00, and a single F in any mandatory subject zeroing out the whole result.

Use this calculator to verify your published marksheet, estimate outcomes before results release, or plan your next academic step. All computations happen in your browser — your data never leaves your device.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is Dakhil GPA calculated in Bangladesh?
Dakhil GPA is calculated on a 5.00 scale by averaging grade points across mandatory subjects. Arabic 1st and 2nd Paper are combined into one averaged subject, and the 4th subject contributes only points above 2.0 as a bonus.
What is the pass mark for Dakhil?
A student must score at least 33 out of 100 (grade point 1.00, letter grade D) in every mandatory subject to pass Dakhil. Failing even one mandatory subject zeroes the full GPA.
What is a Golden A+ in Dakhil?
A Golden A+ is earned when a student gets A+ (80+ marks, GP 5.00) in every single subject including the optional 4th subject. It is the highest possible Dakhil result.
Are Arabic 1st and 2nd Paper averaged together?
Yes. The Madrasah Board treats Arabic 1st and 2nd Paper as one combined subject — their grade points are averaged into a single GP, similar to how Bangla and English papers are paired.
Does failing one subject affect my whole Dakhil GPA?
Yes. If you get F (below 33 marks) in any mandatory subject, your final Dakhil GPA automatically becomes 0.00 regardless of how high your other scores are.
How does the 4th subject bonus work in Dakhil?
Only grade points above 2.00 from your 4th subject count as bonus. An A+ in the 4th subject adds 3.00 bonus points (5.00 − 2.00 = 3.00) to your total before dividing by 9.
Can I calculate my Dakhil GPA before results are published?
Yes. Enter your answer-sheet predictions as marks or letter grades, and the tool gives you an accurate projection using official Madrasah Board rules.
What is the difference between Dakhil and SSC GPA?
Both use the same 5.00 scale and 4th subject bonus rule, but Dakhil includes Madrasah-specific subjects like Quran Majeed, Aqaid and Fiqh, and paired Arabic papers instead of SSC's general group subjects.
Which groups does this calculator support?
Science (Bigyan), General (Samaanya), and Mujabbid (Hifz) — the three official Dakhil groups. Select your group and the right trade/optional subjects load automatically.
Is this Dakhil GPA calculator free and private?
100% free with no sign-up. All calculations happen in your browser — your grades never leave your device and are not stored on any server.
