What is the Vocational SSC GPA Calculator?
BTEB Vocational SSC students: stop using generic SSC calculators that get your trade subjects wrong. This free Vocational SSC GPA calculator knows all 10 major BTEB trades — Electrical, Mechanics, Civil, Farm Machinery, Automotive, Computer & IT, Dress Making, Food, Refrigeration & AC, and Welding — and loads the right Trade-1, Trade-2, and drawing subjects automatically.
Every rule BTEB applies to the official marksheet is built in: 4th subject bonus, single-F fail rule, 5.00 scale. Enter your grades or marks, and get an exact GPA that matches your printed result — under 10 seconds, zero sign-ups, zero data leaks.
Whether you're verifying your marksheet, planning polytechnic admission, or filling scholarship applications, this is the only BTEB-specific tool you need.
How the Vocational SSC GPA Calculator Works
Vocational SSC GPA Formula
BTEB uses the same GPA formula as the general SSC with trade-specific subject swaps:
Vocational SSC GPA = (Sum of Mandatory Grade Points + 4th Subject Bonus) / Number of Mandatory SubjectsWhere:
- Mandatory subjects = 8 compulsory (Bangla, English, Math, Physics, Chemistry, Phys. Ed, Religion, BGS) + first 3 trade subjects (Trade-1, Trade-2, Engineering Drawing or equivalent).
- 4th Subject Bonus = max(0, 4th trade subject GP − 2.00).
- An F grade (points < 1.00) in any mandatory subject forces the final GPA to 0.00.
Calculation In Practice
Worked example — Electrical Works trade student:
- 8 compulsory subjects average: GP 4.50 total points 36
- Trade-1 (Electrical): A+ (5.00)
- Trade-2 (Electrical): A (4.00)
- Engineering Drawing: A+ (5.00)
- Computer Operation (4th): A+ (5.00) → bonus = 5.00 − 2.00 = 3.00
Mandatory total = 36 + 5 + 4 + 5 = 50 across 11 subjects. GPA = (50 + 3.00) / 11 = 4.82 → A letter grade.

Key Takeaways
The BTEB Vocational SSC uses the same 5.00 scale as the general SSC, but replaces standard group subjects with trade-specific modules. The 4th subject bonus, pass/fail rules, and letter grade mapping all work identically to the general board — only the subject list differs.
This tool handles all ten major trades with their correct subject structure so you always get a GPA that matches the official BTEB result. All computation is local — your data never leaves the browser.
